In our Webinars that have been posted on to YouTube we have heard many of the presenters discuss prostate cancer and hormone therapy (ADT). The overriding theme from our presenters has been that ADT doesn’t compromise your immune system and make you more susceptible to COVID-19 virus.
However, there is an exception, in certain circumstances ADT might make men on ADT more vulnerable to the virus if they end up suffering from one of the potential side effects of the treatment, metabolic disease.
Being aware of this potential problem. It is important that you be cautious about preventing the development of metabolic disease.
